2010 Golf Outing, Dinner, Dancing and Auction

The Monica Combs Memorial Scholarship Fund would like to cordially invite you to participate in our 2010 Golf Outing, Dinner, Dancing and Auction. The event will take place at the Marriott Griffin Gate in Lexington, Kentucky on April 9, 2010.

The scholarship was created in 2007 by Monica’s family and friends in her memory to provide financial assistance for the post-secondary education of students graduating from Woodford County High School. In the spring of 2007, The Monica Combs Memorial Scholarship Fund awarded its first scholarship to a graduating senior of Woodford County High School who is now attending Midway College. To date, the foundation has awarded three scholarships. Last year’s event was a tremendous success and we could not have done it without the generosity of all who participated.

As an individual, group, or company you can participate in many ways. Below you will find the ways in which you can help for our 2010 event.

Golf Scramble

  • $400 per team, $100 per individual
  • Shotgun start beginning at 1:00 pm.
  • The fee includes 18 holes, cart, and reception tickets.
  • Prizes for winners and contests throughout the day.

Dinner, Dancing, and Auction

  • $50 per guest
  • Event begins at 6:00 pm.
  • Buffet dinner with Cash Bar.
  • Live DJ and Dancing.
  • Auction items will be displayed throughout the day in order for guests to bid.

Participation in our event or a donation to The Monica Combs Memorial Scholarship Fund will help the education of Woodford County students for years to come.
